The essentials about hosting a quiz, joining by QR and playing live.
Do players need to install an app?+
No. Players scan a QR code or open a link in their phone browser. They do not need an account or an app.
How do I start my first game?+
Sign in to the host dashboard, create a game, add at least one question and open the lobby. Then show the room the QR code.
Can I host a quiz at my pub?+
Yes. Crowdshow is made for pub quiz nights: the shared screen shows the question and join code while teams answer on their phones.
Can I write my own questions?+
Yes. Create, edit and arrange questions in the host dashboard before you start the game.
Does the leaderboard update live?+
Yes. Answers are recorded during each round and the host can see the current leaderboard in the dashboard.
Which devices work with Crowdshow?+
Hosts can use a computer, tablet or phone. Players need a phone with a modern web browser.
How much does Crowdshow cost?+
Starting is free: your first games with up to 16 players and 2 starter packs. Party Pass ($19.99 one-time) unlocks one event for 72 hours, and Full Access ($29.99/mo.) includes everything without limits. See the pricing page for details.
How many people can play at once?+
A game can host multiple teams. Available player limits depend on the plan.

Choose a ready-made themed pack or create your own multiple-choice questions in the dashboard.
